          Last Month….

          When a disaster happens in the home, what do you do? Steve Orrell faced
          this  dilemma  a  few  months  ago  when  the  ceiling  over  his  computing
          workstation began to bulge dramatically with a collapse impending and a
          whole lot of water about to descend on his computing equipment. Every-
          thing was shifted out quickly but what to do now?



          As his workstation area was going to be unavailable for up to 6 weeks
          Steve needed to sort out some sort of alternative system. He had a couple
          of old Pentium processor based laptops that had seen better days and were
          a bit slow for heavy use and there seemed no justification for buying new
          laptops for a short term solution.



          After some investigation around the internet, he found a couple of I5 pro-
          cessor based Lenovo ThinkPad laptops at a reasonable price. He bought a
               nd
          14” 2  generation I5 ThinkPad and then some  months later augmented
          this with a 12” 1st generation I5 ThinkPad. The old laptops were eventu-
          ally sold on.


          However, before this could happen, Steve needed to clone the data from
          his old laptops to the new, so that he had his systems running on the new
