The motherboard of heart of your computer has changes out of all recogni-
tion. The basic components however, remain very similar in their func-
tions.
Items that you may consider during your upgrade will include:-
Screen
Older screens were invariably a CRT model which were slowly replaced
by more modern and less bulky LED/LCD screens and had a 4:3 viewing
ratio. The connection would probably have been a VGA socket. Today,
you can get a wide screen with a 16:9 viewing ratio offering HDMI, DVI
and/or DisplayPort connections offering incredible image quality.
