Last Month….

The 2019 programme was brought to an end with our popular annual Dig-
ital Photo Competition. Our Judges once again came from the Melton
Photographic Society. Arthur Payne, our regular judge was ably assisted
by his colleague Trevor Greaves who between them cast their critical eyes
over the entries.

The standard, again was very high and received praise from both the judg-
es. There were over 60 entries this year split across the six categories
which were well chosen by Bob Eagle. So, if you didn’t win, blame him.
It was then down to Arthur and Trevor to adjudicate and find a winner for
each category and an overall winner for 2019.

Our judges evaluated each photo and gave their opinions and positives
critisms to improve the picture. Arthur emphasised that judging is very
much a personal thing and it was made very difficult by the high quality
of the entries.
