Coronavirus
Melton Computer Clubs approach is to follow official UK government advice.
With the very slow progress in reducing the Covid infection rate we are still review-
ing future meetings. Having spoken to David Brown regarding the re-opening of the
Bowls club it is not clear when they will be in a position to do so.
In light of all the information at the moment we have canceled the September meet-
ing due to the new 6 person rules etc and will make a decision on the October meet-
ing as soon as possible. We will update you as soon as we have any further infor-
mation.
Stay safe and hope to resume soon.

Below is a list of the meeting dates for this year, we have some revised dates so please update your diary to
take into account the new dates.
If you have any suggestions for possible topics please let us know and we will see what we can arrange.

Geoff Walsh

It is with deep regret that we have to inform you that Geoff Walsh passed away on the 3 of Sep-
tember. Geoff had been a long-time and committed member of the club for many years. Over the
years, Geoff has brought much to the club including one of the first E-Readers on the market. He
was also one of the first members to venture into digital photography when only in its infancy –
who needed more than 1MegaPixels for a classic shot?
Probably his greatest contribution was his passion and support for our Digital Photo Competition
which continues to thrive to this day. Geoff, being a keen and accomplished artist in his own right,
had a good eye for composition and it wasn’t unusual for him to walk away with many of the cate-
