Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool for Business

You will all have seen the horror stories regarding Ransomware vi-
ruses and how they can cause untold damage to your system. They
are one of the nastiest forms of malware, hijacking your PC and en-
crypting your personal files and will only release them if you pay a
ransom fee – which is dubious to say the least. You never really
know if the unencryption key will be delivered.

This programme, by the makers of the excellent Kaspersky Anti
Virus software, goes a long way to protect you from such threats. It
is aimed at the business community but is a free download to any-
body – you don’t even have to be a Kaspersky user.

Once downloaded, you need to enter some details of your business,
you can make this up though. Once you have installed the pro-
gramme, it runs in the background keeping you safer from any
threats. You are able to manage blocked or trusted applications and
configure the software’s settings to suit. You can also just leave the
custom settings as they are and run it as a second line defence
alongside your other security software.
