competition has thrived over the years. Geoff kindly donated one of his
paintings as an extra prize to this year’s winner.
Another excellent selection of Photos from club members who received
some very valuable constructive criticism from guest judges Arthur
Payne and Dennis Watts. Arthur said that the standard of the entries goes
up every year making the judging extremely difficult. Dave thanked eve-
ryone who entered to make it a successful evening.
Dave thanked Barry Beeken in his absence, on behalf of the members,
for organising our Christmas Dinner.
The new programme for 2017 is taking shape but we are always looking
for new ideas and presenters. Dave requested that if anybody had a par-
ticular computer related topic or new software, please come along and
share your experiences with the club.
7. Treasurer’s Report
Derek reported that the club made a small loss over the last year, which
was attributed to the purchase and engraving of a new competition
shield. There had been no rent increase and will be none for the foreseea-
ble future.
Derek recommended that the membership fees should remain at the cur-
rent level – members were in agreement.
Details of the accounts have been circulated.
