Last Month….
Sue Mabbutt came along and gave us an interesting take on Genealogy
where she used Microsoft PowerPoint to arrange her family tree and its abil-
ity to incorporate hyperlinks throughout to access further data and infor-
mation pertaining to a particular entry.
Sue explained that she had been interested in Genealogy for a number of
years and had used various methods to create and illustrate her family tree.
However, after doing the Higher Certificate In Genealogy course using Mi-
crosoft’s PowerPoint, she felt things moved forward and she was able to cre-
ate the sort of tree that she really wanted. As you can see below, the course
covered an extensive array of modules.
Sue explained that there were a host of excellent websites that can help (or in
some cases, hinder your research). Some of her favourites are listed below.
