If you are looking for a good image viewer to look at your pictures, you
could also look at the packages sister program XnView which has a
whole host of features to view, browse and edit pictures. I have used it for
some time now and have found it extremely good and easy to navigate.

Videos

Videos, like pictures, also come in many formats and can be frustratingly
unviewable unless you have the right software or some decent conversion
