seems that hackers can alter the cooker settings – turn it on/off!
Is this really a thing in the IoT – well, if someone hijacks it and uses it
– this device is connecting to other devices… so I guess it is.
Within the company I work for, I heard of one person having his lap-
top camera hijacked to send video to an ‘unknown’ person.
But also, some of the systems we use for conference calls seem to de-
fault to having the camera on – without asking you.
So, a group conference call with many many people across the world
could be watching Joe Bloggs slurp his coffee, pick his nose, or work
from home in his pyjamas – or maybe something worse.
